Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to the private Pilates sessions provided by PilateStance, whether delivered in person or online.
By booking or attending a session, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not book or attend any sessions.
Bookings & Payment
Sessions must be booked in advance.
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed with PilateStance. Your appointment is confirmed once payment has been received.
Unless otherwise stated, session packages must be used within 3 months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions after this period will expire.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
PilateStance operates a 24-hour cancellation policy.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Where sufficient notice is provided, PilateStance will make every effort to offer an alternative appointment, subject to availability. If an alternative appointment cannot be arranged, a refund or credit may be offered.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments where the client does not attend, will be charged in full.
Appointments are personal to the client and cannot be transferred to another person.
Cancellations by PilateStance
PilateStance may occasionally need to cancel or reschedule a session due to illness, emergencies or circumstances outside of reasonable control. Where this occurs, PilateStance will make every effort to provide an alternative appointment. If this is not possible, any payment made for the cancelled session will be refunded or credited.
PilateStance will not be responsible for any additional costs or losses resulting from a cancelled appointment.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your session will still finish at the scheduled time to avoid affecting other appointments.
Late arrival does not entitle you to an extension of the session time or a refund.
Health & Safety
Before your first session, you will be required to complete a Health Screening Form.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your health and wellbeing, including any injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, pregnancy, surgery, medication or any other information that may affect your ability to participate safely.
You must inform PilateStance of any changes to your health before attending future sessions.
Pilates is a form of physical exercise. By attending a session, you confirm that you are physically able to participate or have sought appropriate medical advice where necessary.
During sessions, you agree to follow all instructions provided by your teacher and to inform them immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness or feel unwell. PilateStance reserves the right to stop or modify exercises where it considers this necessary for your safety.
You should always seek appropriate medical advice before participating if you have concerns about your ability to exercise safely.
Online Sessions
For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring that your exercise environment is safe and suitable.
You should ensure that:
- you have enough space to move safely;
- your equipment is appropriate and in good condition;
- your internet connection allows you to participate effectively.
PilateStance cannot accept responsibility for accidents or injuries resulting from an unsafe home environment, unsuitable equipment, or failure to follow instructions during online sessions.

You are responsible for exercising within your own limits and for communicating any concerns during a session.
PilateStance provides guidance and instruction but cannot guarantee specific results, as progress depends on individual circumstances, consistency and personal commitment.
